For example, you could make the full recipe and then put half in the freezer for next time and only serve half this time. You can freeze the pudding/whipped topping mixture, but I’d do so without the Oreos. Pour the pudding into the cream cheese mixture and beat to combine. Gradually add the powdered sugar and beat until it’s smooth and creamy. In a separate large bowl, beat together the softened butter and cream cheese until it’s light and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Crush entire bag of Oreo cookies using a food processor (or take out your frustrations and do it manually by placing the cookies in a zip-top bag and use a meat mallet or rolling pin.
